The CrossFit course, held twice last year, is continuing! The sold-out courses have received excellent feedback, and we are happy to offer similar courses for this year as well. This course is suitable for beginners, but it is also perfect for those who participated in the previous courses!

A 10-session private CrossFit- course for Vaisala Oyj employee near Vaisala office! The course is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level.
CrossFit is a fun and effective fitness program that combines elements from several sports and types of exercise. On this course, you will learn safe techniques under the guidance of a professional and improve your fitness regardless of your starting level. We have years of experience in conducting courses for hundreds of people! During the course, you will also receive plenty of individualized feedback and coaching.
The course includes ten training sessions and after completing the course, participants may continue training at CrossFit Kehä with a monthly membership without the need for a separate beginner course (On Ramp). After the course, participants will receive two weeks of free training time at CrossFit Kehä.
Description
Ten private sessions focusing on learning the fundamentals of CrossFit and sweating through an intense final workout with your colleagues.
The coach guides participants through techniques, including:
- Various squats and presses, as well as deadlifts
- Basics of weightlifting movements
- Bodyweight exercises
- Common Consept2 equipment (rowing and cycling)
If participants have limitations, the coach helps find suitable variations for the movements.
The course will be held if there are 10 participants.
Hour structure
Each session lasts 60 minutes, including:
- Warm-up
- Technique: major lift of the day
- Final workout applying learned concepts. The workout is intense but adaptable to all ages and fitness levels.
The schedule is usually tight, so participants should arrive early to start the session on time.
Facilities
All sessions take place at CrossFit Kehä, Martinkyläntie 41 C (only 4km from Vaisala office), with excellent transportation connections. The venue has three separate gyms: Main gym, Studio, and Loft. Private sessions are mainly held in the Studio or Loft upstairs, while changing rooms with showers are located on the main hall side. Participants receive a code for access, and there’s lots of parking slots in the area.

Schedule and registration
Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM starting from week 11. The course lasts for a total of 10 sessions: Thursdays, March 13, 2025 – May 22, 2025. (13.3.2025-22.5.2025, one date moved due to Vappu)

Price and payment
Price for course is 165 € / participant. Vaisala support has already been deducted from the price.
